About Dr. Fertig

Nechama Fertig is the dentist to see if you are looking for an honest, caring and gentle practitioner. Her office values each patient and their time. Dr. Fertig attended Harvard and Columbia Universities, and completed her residency in general dentistry at Columbia University as well.

Dr. Fertig enjoys family dentistry – seeing both adults and children for preventative and restorative dental care. She is proficient in all phases of restorative dentistry including fillings, crowns and bridgework, veneers, partial and full dentures, implants and root canal therapy. She especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry including composites, all-porcelain veneers and crowns, and bleaching. During her consultations, Dr. Fertig thoroughly explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health.

Outside the office, Dr. Fertig enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and labradoodle. She enjoys reading, cooking, exploring the city, spinning and walking the Central Park reservoir.
